TMI Tours & Cruises Invited by the Italian Tourist Board

Nancy Hartill, Group Project Manager at Travel Management, Inc., dba TMI Tours & Cruises, has just returned from Italy where she was an invited guest of the Italian Government Tourist Board at its 5th Annual Italy Symposium.  The Tourist Board joined with several other Italian promotion groups, gearing their educational activities toward travel professionals who do a high volume of group business to Italy.

Representing TMI’s President Rhonda Sand, Hartill opted to explore areas of Umbria, including Assisi, Spoleto, Perugia, Torgiano, Deruta, and Foligno and the villages around Lake Trasimeno.  “The more intense my experience, the better I can advise our clients,” she said, “and I loved being able to ‘touch and feel’ the region’s lodging, music, museums, foods, arts, and history.”

An ardent and frequent visitor to Italy herself, TMI’s president, Rhonda Sand, was delighted  to enhance the agency’s resources when the invitation from the Italian Government came.  “Since we work with so many groups, I’m always glad to have current information from staff who’ve been on-site,” she said.
