Delta, Alaska and Horizon Customers

to Enjoy Frequent Flyer Accrual and Lounge Reciprocity

 

ATLANTA, October 25, 2004 –Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL), Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air Industries customers can begin earning frequent flyer miles toward award travel and access to select lounges of the carriers, beginning Nov. 1, 2004. Delta Crown Room Club members and two guests may now enjoy access to Alaska Airlines Board Rooms, when at least one segment is flown on an Alaska Airlines flight on the same day of travel.

“As Delta transforms to become more inviting to customers, we are delighted to add mileage- earning capabilities toward award travel and Medallion qualification on all Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air flights,” said Jeff Robertson, Delta’s director of Customer Loyalty. “Early next year, members will also be able to redeem miles on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air operated flights, opening up even more of the U.S. west and Mexico.”

In celebration of this new partnership, SkyMiles members will receive double miles when they travel on any AS-coded, Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air operated flights between Nov. 1 and Dec. 15, 2004. In order to earn the double miles, members must enroll prior to their first qualifying flight by registering at http://www.delta-offers.com/offers/go/alaska.

Delta Crown Room Club members who wish to access Alaska Board Rooms in Anchorage, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Vancouver need to simply present their same-day ticket or boarding pass on Alaska Airlines, their Crown Room Club membership card and a government-issued picture identification at the front desk of the club.

Likewise, Alaska Board Room members and two guests can now enjoy access to Delta Crown Room Clubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati and Salt Lake City when at least one segment is flown on a Delta flight on the same day of travel.
